Kiln Dried Firewood Delivery East Sussex
Looking for kiln dried firewood delivery in East Sussex? Armstrong Country Store supplies kiln dried logs and kindling to homes throughout East Sussex, including Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes, Rye, Uckfield, Crowborough, Hailsham, Heathfield, Seaford, Bexhill-on-Sea, Battle and surrounding towns and villages.
From the South Downs and countryside around Lewes to the coastal communities of Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill and Rye, East Sussex has a mixture of towns, villages and rural properties where wood-burning stoves and real fires are very much at home.
The Armstrong family have been producing firewood for more than 30 years and are now one of the UK's largest producers of kiln dried logs and kindling.
And there's an important difference between the firewood we produce and much of the firewood sold online:
Our firewood is produced from locally sourced timber – never imported as finished crates of firewood from Eastern Europe.
Our kiln dried firewood is Woodsure Ready to Burn accredited and FSC® certified, with logs kiln dried below 20% moisture content.
When you order from Armstrong Country Store, you're buying firewood backed by more than three decades of experience in producing logs and kindling.
Firewood Delivery Across East Sussex
East Sussex is a county with very different communities depending on where you live.
Along the coast you'll find Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea, Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven, while inland are historic towns and rural communities including Lewes, Battle, Uckfield, Crowborough, Heathfield and Hailsham.
Further east, Rye and Winchelsea give this part of Sussex another distinctive character, while the countryside around Lewes brings you into the South Downs.
For households using a wood-burning stove regularly, ordering firewood in bulk can be considerably easier than repeatedly buying and transporting smaller bags of logs.
Armstrong Country Store delivers bulk kiln dried firewood throughout East Sussex using our established pallet delivery network.
Delivery is included in the price on our standard bulk pallet firewood orders.
The local delivery depot will contact you to book your delivery day.
Areas we deliver kiln dried firewood to across East Sussex include:
Hastings | Eastbourne | Lewes | Rye | Bexhill-on-Sea | Battle | Uckfield | Crowborough | Hailsham | Heathfield | Seaford | Newhaven | Peacehaven | Polegate | Wadhurst | Winchelsea
We also deliver to many smaller towns, villages and rural locations throughout East Sussex.
Firewood for Rural East Sussex
It doesn't take long to leave the larger towns of East Sussex behind and find yourself surrounded by countryside.
Around Lewes, the South Downs are right on the doorstep. Further north, communities such as Crowborough, Uckfield and Heathfield sit among the countryside of the Weald, while the eastern side of the county includes the historic towns and villages around Battle and Rye.
For households in these more rural areas, having a substantial supply of firewood delivered directly to the property can be particularly useful.
Instead of repeatedly heading out to collect another few bags of logs, you can get the log store stocked and have properly kiln dried firewood ready whenever you need it.
Whether you're in a country property near Lewes, a village around Uckfield or Heathfield, or closer to the East Sussex coast, the principle is simple:
Good firewood, properly dried and delivered to your home.
From the South Downs to the East Sussex Coast
East Sussex has a character of its own, and that's particularly obvious when you travel from the countryside to the coast.
Lewes is a historic market town surrounded by the South Downs, while further south the countryside reaches the coast around Seaford and the Cuckmere Valley.
Follow the coast east and you'll reach Eastbourne, Bexhill-on-Sea and Hastings, before eventually reaching the historic town of Rye.
Away from the larger towns are countless smaller communities, villages and country properties where a wood-burning stove can see regular use throughout autumn and winter.
For customers in these areas, getting a larger supply of logs delivered means you can have your firewood stored and ready before the colder weather arrives.
There's no last-minute hunt for bags of logs when the temperature drops.
UK Produced Firewood – Never Imported Eastern European Logs
Not every company selling kiln dried firewood online actually produces the firewood it sells.
A considerable amount of firewood available online in Britain arrives as finished crates of logs imported from Eastern Europe.
That's not how the Armstrong family produce firewood.
Our firewood is produced from locally sourced timber.
The Armstrong family have been producing logs and kindling for more than 30 years, supplying major supermarkets and fuel distributors as well as households ordering directly through Armstrong Country Store.
Firewood production isn't something we've recently added to an online shop.
It's something the Armstrong family have been doing for more than three decades.
So when you're comparing firewood online, don't just look at the headline price.
Consider:
Who actually produced the firewood?
Where was the timber sourced?
Has it been properly kiln dried?
Is it Ready to Burn accredited?
With Armstrong Country Store, you're buying firewood produced by a family with decades of experience in the industry.
